Miss Tassey and Edith are both short plays about working women, representing opposite ends of the spectrum. In Edith, we meet a remarkable successful business woman, who astonishes her family with her capacity, acumen and accomplishment. Miss Tassey is a less happy tale, about a store clerk and the women she shares a room with, back in the day when workers in England “lived-in.”
